A couple of updates from jms have arrived in the newsgroup, where he discusses the recent cancelation of Enterprise and his thoughts on the future of Star Trek, as well as a note that he's had and accepted (pending negotiations) an offer to run a new TV series in the fall of 2006.

I wonder if JMS could engineer a few cross over episodes between S Trek & B5 :D

So a new tv series for fall 2006... intriguing...

that might be a way to elevate trek, but it'd seriously harm b5 ;)

I actually have written up some ideas of the B5 and SW/ST worlds 'merging'. Would be pretty cool for the Imperial/Shadow/Borg to go against the Rebel/Earthforce-IA/Federation forces...'course it would be a bitch to keep track of everything... ;)

The problem is the fundemental ruls are different in the universes. Would a photon torpedo take out a sharlin? Could B5 ships jump in a star trek universe?

No, but Star Wreck ships could jump in a B13 universe.

Well let's take this into perspective:

Good Guys:
Federation - Earth, medium to small ships, shields, average numbers
EA-ISA - Much Larger ships, powerful weapontry, average numbers
Rebels - Various ships, shields, small numbers

Bad Guys:
Borg - Um, huge ships, shielded, adaptible, hundreds of them
Shadows - Very Powerful ships, disappate energy blasts, hundreds of them
Imperials - SSD, bunch of ISD's, shields, Many ships

Um, Pray for the good guys.
