Just popped in to say hello to my old mates and see how things are.

Things are fine with me just now. Work is busy (cant remember if i told you but at one point (sept 2002) i was told i was going to get paid of from the job i was in for 14 odd years, then in the following january (when i was suposed to be paid off) i was told i would be kept on then to add to that, at the end of last sept i was promoted to an officer (strange how things turn out :-) ).

Been busy with a few other projects on the computer. I would play the latest versions of rhe mods and ships but they were getting to detailed for my computer and i new i wouldn't get far with the frame rate being fairly low. I know they won't run just now because the computer is nackered so i am using my laptop just now, but in a way it is a good thing because i have been thinking of getting a new, faster computer anyway so when i do i will certainly check out all the latest stuff that has been done since the last time i was here.

Still got a part finished project somewhere on a disk i was doing for ya but it wasn't important so it didn't really matter if it was finished or not but i will get round to finishing it sometime.

Looks like you have been quite busy since i was here last and i see a few new ships out.

Haven't read all the last posts but i will get round to it sometime.

How is everyone doing. I see some of the old lot are still here and some new ones to.

Glad to see you are still doing things for BUDA5 and if all goes well i will probably come back and do some more stuff for you all but don't expect anything soon :-).

I work a 3 weeks on 3 weeks off system just now so if anyone asks me any questions (wouldn't know why though :-) )it may be a wee while before i answer them but i will eventually answer them.

Well there are probably loads more things i should be putting down here but can't think of anymore just now (usually when i post these i think of other things) so i will leave it as it is just now.

Nice to see you all again. Hopefully i'll be here for a while, but as Kosh usually say's "I have always been here" :-)

HEY THERE SIMON!!! It's great hearing from you again! The old gang misses you. Glad to hear everything worked out with your job, i can imagine the stress that caused.

I hope you are able to play all the new mods soon, they're really fantastic.

As usual, things progress slowly, but we try to keep something new rolling out :). Hmmm if you can't access it already, i'll have sanfam clear u ASAP for the dev forum so we can give u a quick up-to-date on all the "Classified" stuffs ;)

What new projects have you been working on? Still using LW i hope? LW8 is supposed to come out soon, that's got me excited, i've seen some of the vids for it, its looking really cool.

Like you said there's tons more i should be putting in this post but my mind is blurry right now, it's late here, lol.. maybe we can talk in more detail about the new goings on later :) i'll post again after a good nite's sleep.

Yep i can get into the Dev forums with just a small problem but i will post about that in there.

I've being doing a few low polygon boats for a programme called Virtual Sailor and also i was doing a couple of ships which my mate designed for Freelancer as well as starting a few things with DarkBasic programming (but really really basic stuff) for myself as well as one or two other things. Nothing to do with B5 though.

Still using Lightwave (is there anything else other than Lightwave ;) ) and will always be using it.

I've started to download the files which will take quite a while but i will get there in the end and i will try it on the laptop when i can. Will be a couple of months before i get my new system though.

Well, what goes on with Buda5 you've got to know meanwhile in the Dev Forum I suppose.

Warlord is at army currently, so he reads only at some weekends the forum.

I'm busy due to exams ... like everytime since I started to work on Buda5 ;) . But additional now I have a job as a Spinning Trainer (an Indoor Cycling Program) and I'm working on a research project of Infineon (new step of sensors - has to do with my study).

Hehe, hope you get a new system asap. ;)

The rank i am is a Mate. There are 6 of us on the boat, Captain, Mate, Engineer and 3 deckies. Money is good (want more though :) ) and the jobs good so everything worked out in the end. Still do a 3 weeks on 3 weeks off system which is good also.

Looks like a few are busy with other stuff so it maybe handy me coming back just now although it would still be as a modeller as i think the scripting is still way over my head but who knows.

Justa installed EOC on the laptop and it runs quite well so i may be able to run the Buda5 stuff before i get my new system.

Gonna take a while to download though, still got 56k connection. :(
