Problem with graphics and Ingame Mod

I have a problem with the graphics in combination with the new Ingame Mod. The text of the menu and the most of the text in the game itself (like HUD, contactlist..) are messed up.

In more detail: the game starts up normally, with on the left the menu and on the right hand side the Buda 5 logo nicely turning. When just after the text starts scrolling text in the right panel. The menu and the cursor get distorted. All submenus are initially shown correctly, but also get corrupted quickly. I started the game (kind of blindly) to see if it was limited only to the menus, but it wasn't. In the game the cockpit, other ships, Hoffer's Gap and the background are shown properly the most of the text and lines aren't.

I verified that it came from the Ingame Mod, by reinstalling EoC and patch 2. With only these 2 installations the text (and lines/ellipses) in both the menu and the game are shown correctly. Installed the Mod and :(

My video driver is up to date: the latest available for a 3DFX Banshee card and Win98.

Anyone with suggestions on how to fix this?

Now that is a new one.... I'll have to do some investigating and get back to u. no one else has expressed problems with InGame of this nature, so i'm gonna assume it has something to do with your hardware configuration. Post your specs please.

Here are my hardware specs:
- AOpen AX6BC, Intel 82443BX PII 400 MHz, 128 Mb
- FD, IOmega ZIP, 9Gb HD, CD 36x, CDRW 6/2/2
- Creative 3D Blaster Banshee 16 Mb, AGP, chip 3DFx Voodoo Banshee
- Creative SoundBlaster live
- 3Com Etherlink III, Teles ISDN
- USB:MS SideWinder ForceFeedBack, Video Blaster Webcam

I did some additional tests with different Graphics settings, but no luck. At every test the screen starts out normally but after a couple of seconds it messes up. I noticed that always some lines are drawn from the quit box (or where it should be) to the cursor and from the cursor to the version text lower right corner.
