we need to know how to set up a bot on irc?
somethin like chanserv? if u can steal 1 from somewhere, thats sweeeeeet
if u can make one, thats cool
and if u can teach us, thats ok i guess

I haven't actually written a bot myself, but from talking to someone who wrote a pretty complex bot, they don't sound too difficult. Plus I think there are quite a few around that you can download and then modify to suit your tastes.

Most of the good ones require access to a unix box, The others are usually mirc scripts

Actually, that's the entire point http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif I spent far too long on DAL and EF back in the day, who needs the chaos, I like the peace and quiet. (Speaking as someone who has turned down an O there :P)

i think LM's still around, i've been on dal for Umm, what year is it? heh, since late 95, was on Ef before that, chaos is no services.
