Path of Sorrowsin varjo(?)alus

Se jysäytti minua kovaa, kun Gideonin Omegan pamautti sellainen jumalattoman iso, aivan selvästi varjotyylinen alus. Eihän siinä mennyt kuin pari sekuntia! Huhhh...
Mitä varten juuri tuollainen alus tuhosi Omegan? Miksi näitä ei nähty muulloin? Oliko tämä jopa uusi varjojen alustyyppi?

Ei kannata uskoa Tech Manualia tai mitään muutakaan fanisivua noissa asioissa. Noilla sivuilla yleensä suuri osa tiedoista on itse keksittyjä tai muiden fanien spekulointia. Siitä viime jakson aluksesta ei nimittäin tiedetä yhtään sen enempää kun kyseinen jakso toi esille. KAIKKI muu on pelkkää spekulaatiota. Eli se ei ole tiedossa oliko se todella Varjojen alus vai ei, vaikka se siltä näyttikin. Kuulemma tulevassa B5 kirjassa valotetaan enemmän kyseisen aluksen taustaa, mutta muuta ei ole tällä hetkellä ainakaan yleisessä tiedossa.

I'm now very hard at work (writing from twelve to twenty hours a day, seven days a week) on a trilogy of science fiction novels set in the Babylon 5 universe, which will be released by Del Rey Books beginning in 2001. The trilogy deals with the techno-mages, a group that uses extremely advanced science to create magical effects. One of the great joys of the trilogy is the wonderful characters I'm working with. I love the B5 regulars, of course, like Sheridan and Londo. And I've been able to include, in key roles, those close to my heart from my previous B5 book, Anna Sheridan and Morden. Elric is one of my favorite B5 guest characters of all time, and he's a major figure in the trilogy. And of course, the most fascinating main character one could ask for is Galen. I've really loved developing his background and voice. While I'm working in a fair amount of information about the origins and history of the techno-mages, the story is very tightly plotted and takes place over only a few years--a few crucial years. Lots of action, lots of drama, lots of technomancy--can't really say much more.
